EMDR Intensives:

A faster approach to healing

Kelly believes that one of the quickest and most effective ways to overcome our struggles and reduce/eliminate symptoms is through EMDR Intensive Therapy. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR helps us process negative feelings and change the way we think about ourselves and our memories. Because of the powerful healing effect of EMDR therapy, Intensives can produce faster results than weekly sessions using standard talk-therapy techniques. EMDR Intensives can help clients to process information faster and heal quicker.

Pros to using an Intensive Therapy Approach:

  • Process more information in a shorter amount of time: Dedicate 1-2 days to focus on healing, growth, and connection.

  • Cost effective: Intensives are highly concentrated and highly focused, sometimes requiring less time and overall cost to the client.

  • No more weekly appointments: Stop scheduling your weeks around therapy sessions.

  • Make a lasting change: Take care of your mind and body.

Kelly is booked up & not currently accepting new clients.

How much do intensives cost?

  • Full-day Intensives (in-person) = $1,500 per day (6-hours of therapy per day)

  • A 50% deposit will be required to confirm your appointment times.

  • The remaining 50% will be paid on the first day of the EMDR Intensive.

How long do intensives take?

Full day intensives (in-person) take between 1-2 days. Typically, sessions will begin at 9:00AM and last until 4:30PM, with several breaks in between and a 1.5 hour lunch (a total of 6 hours of therapy throughout the day). Intensives are individualized different for various needs of the client.

How do I schedule an intensive with Kelly?

Kelly's schedule is currently full and she cannot accept new clients.

How do I prepare for an intensive?

Kelly suggests treating the days surrounding intensive sessions like a personal retreat. This is a time for clients to really focus on healing themselves. Schedule activities you enjoy around your sessions such as massages, yoga, and hiking.

Where do intensives take place?

Kelly conducts all intensives in-person at her office in Reno, Nevada.
